Think and become a millionaire…

In Uncategorized on July 27, 2009 at 7:40 pm

How’s that for an attention-grabbing title? Take a breath, close your eyes and imagine how you would react to such a statement.

There are 2 common reactions.  Some of us would have rushed to open the blog  to see what this is all about, while the more jaded  among us that have tried all those wonderful get rich in 1 minute, millions in a minute, gazillions in a second offers, wouldn’t be as excited

Okay, so i hear you cry-what is the point? The point is how powerful thoughts can be. Granted, a single thought will NOT make you a millionaire, however the way of thinking we adopt determines the end result. The Edisons, Einsteins and Bransons of this world all used the power of thought to come up with innovative ideas and concepts.

I read somewhere during one of my long trips into cyberspace (would be great if they actually gave surfing air miles for this), that as part of an experiment two adverts were placed in a newspaper for the same job; one was for a higher salary and the other was for a lower salary. Surprisingly, more people applied for the lower paid job than for the higher paying.  That wonderful word conditioning has a lot to do with it.  The experiment showed that most of us are conditioned to follow a pattern where we make do with that we are used to.

If we are ever to improve, we must all be intrepid like Sir Edmund Hillary and take a large leap of faith by scaling outside the metaphoric four walls we have been accustomed to. Jump over the wall!

There is no “secret” or some law. It requires us establish healthy thinking-by healthy i mean productive thoughts that can help us reach greater heights.

To achieve BIG we must think BIG!

Think like a winner, act like a winner, but rather than just act BE one and your thoughts may make you a millionaire in many other ways…

“ It is not enough to know, we must apply.”
Bruce Lee

Keep on winning…
