If only we truly opened our eyes we would see moments of inspiration enveloping our lives on a day to day basis.  As i was driving (or being driven today) i saw a number of people along my journey selling newspapers. Now, this is not a rare site to behold as this can be witnessed any Sunday. But, today was different because even though this journey had been made many times before-today i consciously decided to observe.

It was a scorching 90 degrees and i watched  these folk with beads of sweat dripping from the foreheads and their shirts soaked with sweat; armed only with Gatorade and an internal drive to succeed no matter the weather they remained oblivious and pushed on despite their circumstances. In such trying economic times, it is still great to see people determined to enrich their lives-hope and diligence are very much alive and in great abundance.

These moments force us to think about how our spirits can triumph. Inspiration is not necessarily something we find in celebrated leaders and personalities, but in the most ordinary of circumstances.

When you have to make a choice and don’t make it, that is in itself a choice.

William James

Keep on winning…
